Hey Rudy. I fish further down the Hudson in the Village and do quite well. The common fish there are blues and snappers, stripers, eal, pogies and blackfish. I have also caught an occasional weak fish, skip jack and tommy cod.
I am sure the fishing by the bridge is just as good; however I assume the salt content decreases the further up river you get so you may see more of the fresh water varieties then I do.
Plenty of blue claw crabs there as well I'd imagine as we have tons down this way this time of year.

Interestingly the Blue claw commercial guys sell to some Maryland fish houses. Cept they dont want customers finding that out. Thats how good the crabs are.
