Default Rods/Reels for freshwater trolling?

I've got back into the freshwater stripers of late. I've got a AG 5500 and a Penn9 on 7'-7.5' rods. I'm looking for another outfit to run a spider rig and deep divers on. It would also do backup at the coast on some inshore and nearshore fishing. I'm leaning toward a 7000 on a 8' rod.

What setups do you guys use trolling?
