Default Cold Wipers & Whites

Fished the Scioto River at Portsmouth , Ohio this morning and was well worth the cold. I caught 35 Whites and 7 Wipers on Zoom Flukes. The Wipers wanted the lure moving but the Whites were content with it just slowing drifting by. Even caught a Walleye. A good way to start my vacation. We hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving.

Nice day!! Do those little linesiders crash around on the surface out there when hooked?

This was at a smaller river than I normally fish. Less current and smaller in general. I hooked these on Zoom Flukes under a weighted float in fairly shallow water at about 3 ft. They were busting Shad on top but when they were hooked they went straight down and straight toward me and it was all I could do tho catch up with them . They were a real blast to catch and an unexpected surprise as I went with the intention of catching the Whites. I went back this AM and didn't get any Wipers but caught 20 Whites and 5 Saugers .
