Not my favorite striper lure, but my favorite all around lure. If I could only have one lure it would be a copper Mooselook Wobbler.

I've caught....
Brook Trout
Brown Trout
Lake Trout
Rainbow Trout
Landlock Salmon
Sm.Bass
Lg.Bass
Pickerel
White Perch
Yellow Perch
Crappie
Smelt
Pollock
Mackeral
Striped Bass
Bluefish

There isn't a fishing trip that this lure isn't dragged behind the boat at some point. Never leave home without it!! :D

Yes for Rapala's I beleive Shad and Perch colors work best.

Yes, I have -

I like it because you can fish it topwater at dusk or it can go down to about 4 feet deep. Or deeper. Works good in my lake, cuase its a narrow, shallow lake.

Id have to say a pencil popper or a red-fin for striper. Anybody checked out the custom baits made by Allen Cole? They cost about $60.00+ but the pictures from testimonials on his website are ridiculous. Not just for striper either. I think you can get to it by typing AC plugs on yahoo or google. If i find it Ill post the link.

Default Favorite Lure(s)

Hey all. I'm new to 24/7. My favorite striper lure is my X-Rap Blue Herring. This thing is great for both salties and freshy stripers.

My favorite "all-around" lure is my Yo-Zuri Pin's Minnow. I catch everything from wild browns to large mouth and smallies on it. Can't be beat for all around fresh water.

Hook em' up!

Salty Dog

I also think the soft rubber baits have come a long way. They look so real.
