Default Some new pluggage

About 6 1/2" long, extra heavy hardware, cut 3/0 VMC hook, epoxy heat sealed.

What's different is that the only paint used on this wood is the primer and a base coat of black. Can't say they were painted so I have to say they were colored. I used three coats of clear waterproof sealer, each coat containing a different color shifting powder - blue/green, green/yellow and pink/gold. After they were colored they were coated with two coats of E-tex, the first coat getting a sprinkle of black micro glitter.

Swims with a big wobble at a very slow retrieve and can dig down a few feet with a few cranks - best for calm evenings and dawns.
The first one I tested got scratched when a bass grabbed it as I was giving it a swim. (I took that as a good sign )

8" Slopehead in chameleon (color shifting) green and Root Beer. Look at it from one angle, it's green, from another and it's a metallic coppery brown.

8 1/2" Roundnose done the same as the top minnow but with a chameleon gold overspray and wired with 1300 lb hardware - you can catch tuna on this.

6" Cowboy also done in the same method as the top minnow but with a black Chicken Scratch pattern and a black back with microglitter - I love glitter, it's the miracle cure for hiding small tear outs that show up after priming (when it's too late to sand em out)

The colors shift as you turn the plugs so they really don't show properly in the pictures

oh, i got some glitter and some pearl im gonna send you tomorrow...mix a little of the blue pearl in the etex over black paint and enjoy....over yellow is killer too...the glitter is actually more like metal flake..it changes color like you wouldnt believe..its 45 clams for a little tub...high end automotive stuff..the pearl is about 80 smackers for 2.5 oz bottle...use tiny amounts..i mean start really small and work your way up...you will get some goodies in a few days.

Just finishing a run of 27 plugs - started em months ago 17 are finally done but I have 10 still waiting for paint.

That's this entire winters worth - I can't wait til the kids get older and I can get some time to play again.

Jimi - did you make the greyish scaled bunker pikie I was swimming (and catching fish on) the other day? I'll post a picture asap.
The plug is absolutely kick ass, casts like a bomb, the longest casting pikie I've ever thrown and swims perfectly. I had bass in the 12# range on it the other night.

You need to get a few colored sharpies and sign and date your work.

ive been thinking really hard...i cant remember all the plugs ive sent to you...im having a hard time remembering a greyish scaled bunker pikie..it sounds like a paint pattern of roc's..that would explain the ass kickin factor...once you get a pic up ill know right away if i made it..anyway..some goodies on the way for you to anylize once again...
