My friend and I will be heading down to bath early in the morning and hitting the Kenebec in search of some bass we have only been striper fishing a hand full of times in the past two years and have had no luck so even some schoolies would be nice does anyone have some tips for fishing the area i know no one wants to burn spots but atleast some tips of what to look for and what to use for bait we usually use eels and mackerel chunk and advice would help ty....
The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad.

There should be some nice fish moving into your area over the next week or so. Eels at night are always a good bet, but don't rule out swimmers (like Dannys and Surfsters) fished slowly on the surface. Good luck!

My advice would be to fish the early morning around false dawn and at night. You just have to put your time in. Clams and sandworms will get you a schoolie.
