rock piles and river mouths always produce. Any place you see coomerants fishing, you can try fishing too. Try the early morning hours: say from 3am to the time you goto work. That's what I do, but my work is right next to fishing the ocean. I roll in a bit early, cast a bit, then goto work. Early morning is the key time, and tide . . . . well forget about the tide it won't matter for you.
Now this here is SCIENCE! for some reason fish go beserk from false dawn (if you're a striper fisherman you know what this is) to daybreak. So do what your doin over a pile of rocks early morning (like 0400) and tell us what happened!
