Default Bay Fishing 4-26-08

It was another great day to be on the Bay fishing this morning with nice tempertures and a light wind. We got started early as usual and went right out front off of Lil Cove Point and got started. At about 7:30 am our side rod went a screaming my buddy Scott was fishing with me this morning and I hadn't seen him in awhile due to job changes and he went to battle. After a short time we had the monster on board with hi fives. Just as we got the hook out and was about to take pictures our top rod was dancing and a screaming. I told Scott to take him and he hesitated saying it was my turn but I wanted him to reel it in since he hasn't been out in awhile fishing So after a short struggle another fish was in the bottom of the boat. I thought of releasing this one since it was early and I didn't want to quit but he had inhaled the bucktail and was bleeding from the gills so I decided to keep him also and that was our limit. We did mark alot of fish and bait fish this morning and that looks promising compared to my last two outings. I am thinking of doing some bottom fishing on Sunday for some croaker in the Wicomico if the weather cooperates.
