Default Thursday night NFL opener Raiders at Pats

Raiders are vastly improved and hold a grudge (they still think THEY should have won that snowy night in Foxborough in '03)

the Pats looked good against Greenbay in pre-season, the only game which we have to judge all the starters... I expect it to be close until the 3rd quarter...my guess is Pats by 10

GO Pats. Opening game and Raiders have definately improved. Pats by 7. They'll break away in the 4th. I can't wait for the season to begin now. Hope they play the Eagles again so I can torment the in-laws.

Tha Raidiz Defense is rubbish. Moss could be a factor if the washed up Stiff Kerry Collins can get him the ball. Lamont Jordan might have a decent year now that he is at the forefront of a running program.

Pats by 13.

This should be an interesting game - ain't a chance in H#ll that I'd put money on it either way.
Da Raidas have made some impressive moves this offseason and could possibly be the team to reckon with. The Pats have some serious question marks having lost their coordinators and a lot of defensive talent.
(Anyone see the Irish game - Mr. Weis is the real deal. 7 TDs in 7 posessions )

If I were forced to bet I'd take the Raiders in a squeaker.

The Pats may be toast. No Teddy B to make the big play in the fourth quarter. Tj is gone as well.
The pats get written off every year and still get it done. Indy just cant go into foxboro and win. This is the year Pats may have to go to indy.
Oakland is weak at the safety position. Look for Bellicheck to exploit that. I dont see Oakland going into foxboro and winning this one. Im with suds on this one (dont bet it) but the raiders recieving corps is in shambles. Gabrial Porter and curry are out although Randy Moss makes up for that.

The raiders had TWO more chances to stop the Pats and COULDNT... nope the best team won.... Allso, the uncalled facemask penalty on the "tuck" play would have given the Pats the ball 15 yds closer.... most people forget about that part of the play.... just watch the vidio...it's pretty blatant.
