THE WOODS was nearly 1/2 empty for the past few weeks.
there,s been some back hoeing done around cleghorn, the mojave channel and im assuming they trenched it out deeper.
they have dumped alot of fallen timber into the area.
looks like its going to be a good summer for bass fishing.
lake sould be full in about a week.

Yea I was there about that same time piece of wood knocked of my transduser but bought a better finder. We usalley get a few 20 plus inchers but not that day I am in Apple Valley are you locale to Da Woods? Going to give it a try this Sunday and see what's up.....

Thanks for the reply I will be at silverwood tomorrow will post back on what is happening there. Working on boat now, hope you nail them tomorrow heard they are getting a few dd stripers there. Do you ever fish the Havasu derby?
Tried all my spots that usually work but nope not to day Nada Nothing but still good to be on the water. Saw a few trout caught but no stripers will be back out next week can't catch them if you are not out there.
I remember when the woods first openen up saw a lot of 5lb's caught (browns) plus you could stay on the lake till 10:00p.m. speed limit 5mph after dark was cool. Might try and get out there this week-end and see whats up. Thanks for reply.....
