Just one plug.

I have a couple of big plugs that I inherited from my father but he was mostly a fresh water fisherman and I'm not sure if they are for fresh or salt water even though they are about 6" long. So, in an effort to augment my arsenal of clams and sluggos, what ONE (or maybe two) plug would you reccomed for shore fishing into a river/inlet/bay from the sand/dock/wall/bank. I have an 8 foot medium action spinning rod.

If you get a decent amount of current, I'd say darter.

However, me personally I'd go with an eelskin plug. Everyone says how great they are, and I can't wait to get to make one.

If you got the touch with a bucktail though, nothing beats it.
