Great Site
I am getting back into fishing after a 15-year hiatus (college, pursuing other interests, working too hard, marriage, young kids), now that my kids are just becoming old enough to fish with me. I hope to give them the love of fishing I had growing up and that I am just starting to remember again.
Mostly did freshwater for many years, along with the yearly trip out of Sheepshead Bay or New Rochelle for blues at night or maybe fluke with my grandfather.
I live on the north shore of Boston now (south shore transplant) and I have decided I need to take advantage of the great ocean fishing available. Will be surfcasting at first, but interested in getting a boat some day.
The amount of info on this site is great!

Pete, welcome, you got here at the right time! There are some folks here that are generating some great times. Watch the surf casters forum for gatherings and hook ups.

I will be trying my luck this weekend...after a week after practicing my knots for lures, shock leaders, etc.
