Mass striper fishing question

Guys,
I have a good friend that lives in Beverly, Mass. Just wondering how the striper fishing is around that area of Mass, (from Beverly to Prides Crossing). And what time of year the fishing usually heats up in that area. I would like to go up there this fall and give it a try. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Fishing is good here all summer, August slows down a little and it becomes a night game, the fish have already begun to stir, they are not migrating yet but they are thinking about it, moving around and off of their summer haunts, bait is gathering at all the river mouths, blitzes have begun, the water has dropped 10-15 degrees in the last two weeks depending on your location, the stage is set, each nor'easter gets them more and more restless... best thing to do is fish whenever you can or it will be over before you get the word, being there is the only solution....
