Hi &
October 5th through 10th the stripers should be in the throws of the fall run and chasing bait fattening up for the winter.
In Frank Daignaults book 'Striper Hot spots', he lists 17 hot spots in
Rhode island. Most guys don't get more specific for fear of burning spots.
Heres the list that are public knowledge. Your brother should be able to read any of these spots.
Naptree Point, Watch Hill, Weekapaug Breechway, Quonochontaug Breachway, East Beach, Deep Hole, Harbor Refuge, Point Judith, Narragansett's Rocky shore, Narrow river Inlet, Conanicut Island, Barrington river, Warren River, Bristol Narrows, Brenton Point State Park, Fort Adams State Park.
Most important would be the presence of bait. Check with the local tackle shops and current reports as well. Have fun when your there and good luck.
