James, my boat wont be ready till the 19th. Visited today the generator wont arrive till monday. you have to figure that they need at least 5 days to install. Awlgrip is finished, windless is in, gps northstar 6000i is installed and intergrated, canavas started should be done by tuesday.

Give at least 3 days for cummungs to come and certifie the diesels.

After that ready to go! :D

We should meet up and we can take the Whaler out fishing! I will be in York June 11-19, and July 2-16, and a week in late August. Thanks for the warm welcome !

Ok guys and gals......need a little input here. This is the boat that seems to be the one i'm going to buy. 24 foot Albemarle..260hp, FWC, fully enclosed, VHF, GPS, Color Recorder, Radar, Fishfinder, swim platform, trailer, new 6,000lb winch. The cage is custom built. i talked to a bunch of guys(old dudes) that have been on her. They all commented on how seaworthy she is. annual trips to BI. He actually motored from Canada, through the locks, all the way here with her. He's been out in very rough seas with her and he says you can't beat it....adjust the trim so the bow is up and he said it would take anything. 150gal gas tank. Livewell.....etc etc etc.........

I'm going to buy it but i'd love to hear the good the bad and the ugly on her. from my point of veiw, there is no ugly. its built like a brick shithouse. Everyone i talked to about it boasts how dependable she is....turn key.

so bring it on..........

Oh and the name is gone as soon as shes mine hahaha

obviously the guy was a plumber. He owns the local bait & Tackle and is a very well respected member of the RISAA. i'd trust him with my life, so its not like i'm buying from a stranger.

I know i'll probably name her after my daughter (Samantha May) but....the money i'm using to buy her, came to me from a "Will" that my aunt just left me. she died from cancer from cigs.....loved her alot . her name was Jane.

should i be so cruel as to name it " Janes Addiction"? sorry that was cruel...i thought of it last night.
