On May 6, 2006 the association will introduce the Stiped Bass Derby, a new event for Raritan Bay and New York Harbor area fishermen. It will feature three weigh-in stations: the Atlantis Marina in Staten Island, Liberty Landing Marina in Jersey City and aboard the Atlantis Princess Party Boat. The event has a first prize of $5,000 with new sponsors and prizes coming on board almost daily. The entry fee is $25 per person. For information and directions go to stripedbassderby.com.
