Fall Migration, How Far Up The Hudson?

Does the Upper Hudson get involved with the Fall Migration and if so how far up do they come?

Thanks, I figured as much as it didn't make sense. Somebody was telling a friend of mine about that and I sort of figured he was blowing smoke.

Your welcome, only reason we get a spring run is because it is one of the major spawning rivers. There are hold overs that are here year long... but not in numbers/size to really target them.

Sorry to bring up an old thread. I heard of a few guys catching some smaller fish near coxsackie this past week. Anyone having any luck this time of year?

They have been catching south of newburgh a week ago which means they are moving up.....buddy if mine marked lg schools of schoolies in Marlboro this week.
