Re: new to site
Welcome to the site tomlbby. I fish mainly from the beach in Old Orchard but make several trips a year to Camp Ellis and Pine Point as well. I usually fish Camp Ellis when the weather gets rough or if it's real windy, can usually find calmer waters down that way. No signs of bait yet, prob looking at 3+ weeks yet before the first sign of macs/herring show up in the river. Won't be long now, maybe I'll see ya down there.

Nope, I use the old trusty Palomar knot, easy to tie and once ya learn it, it will never fail ya. I assume you mean for tying on terminal tackle/plugs etc.....tying two lines together on the other hand is not something I do often, or well, so I usually don't do it!!!

Re: new to site
Haven't made it out to the salt yet. Went out to a local pond once, so my season so far is one Brookie.

Thanks for the report man, won't be long now until the bait starts running up the rivers with the stripers not far behind.
