Been out twice now....
first was on the 6th and went out yesterday the 12th
Both times were off cunningham bridge in cohasset where i normally have very good luck but it appears they just arent around yet around here. I am pretty confidant in my approach at this spot because ive been fishing the same bridge my whole life...water temp was only 44 that could be the reason to the slow start around here ....
otherwise...wentout and got 5 cod with my buddies had a nice bbq
PS - ive posted on this site last year i just forgot my name and password but this isnt my first post
I've heard good reports from the Taunton River/Westport area lately, so they're definately headed your way. Going out tomorrow night myself so I'll let you know how it turns out. Been skunked my last 8 times out, so I guess the cool water/poor weather is slowing things down a bit this spring.
Info from the club Briggs and I belong to the stripers are now starting to make themselves known. Reports from the West Wall to Swansea, MA and all the way in East Providence show fresh fish daily. I would think it will be only a few changes in tide before they push around and up the Cape.
