Surfcasting Access to Essex River
I am wondering if anyone knows of a good place to fish from shore around the mouth of the Essex. Obviously I can go to cranes and walk the few miles down.
I was wondering if there was an easier area to access. It looks like the western side of the mouth is solidly packed residential areas. I do not want to trespass so I am hoping someone has some knowledge of the area. Perhaps even somewhere in essex bay thats a decent fishing spot.
I know I am going to get flamed for "hike it surf boy, lazy people dont catch stripers"
I am a complete newcomer to this sport and am really just looking for some local expertise 'fore I do something stupid. I'm in the business of minimizing rookie mistakes. Thanks!
