If it's anything like it's trout bait it should be outstanding.

Meh...I'm not really a fan...
I think its a little to tough and mishaped...

I'm kinda dispointed...I've always been a Berkley fan...

Hey Plum,
I put scent on almost everything I throw anymore, especially jigs and softbaits. I have found that even in the same general area, the bass at one lake like a certain brand, while five miles down the road in another lake they want something entirely different. I think any of them will help, even simply through blocking "negative" scents. The all-around best scent for me is the Baitmate Classic Bass scent. Sells out here in CA at wal mart for about three bucks. It is the economy model of the baitmate line, but seems to get bit as well or even better than their premium stuff. Nice big spray bottle goes a long way and at that price you can get liberal with the stuff. Seems to be mostly fish oil and anise I think. Carry several different brands with you and test them out until you find the right tool for the spot you are on. Good Luck man. The other night I went head to head with a buddy, him using live crawdads and myself using 4" Storm Rattle Craws in Black/Blue and doused liberally every couple casts with baitmate classic. I got bit easily two fish to his one on the same stretch of bank.
