If you dont put it on properly it will lift up and tear. Usually only in spots that has air trapped underneath. So you have to make sure it adheres in every little spot with no air bubbles. I had some cracking on the roof ridges that I rushed to finish. I've had it on a few years and when the truck is washed it looks like the same day I put it on. It also protects the paint job underneath - not that its a concern. Do keep in mind the wraps are a pia to put on.
Although I cant speak on the dipkit - the wrapkit video made it look simple too.
