Many items are generic and available from NAPA, a good hardware store, Farm equipment folks, Home Depot, etc. If you have ties with a machinist, autobody guy, cabinet makers, etc. it's all a big plus when bartering. sometimes trading fishtime for items is a way to go.
I prefer barter to buy anytime.
I offered to remove some horse manure (used it in garden) the guy was so pleased he gave me his older rototiller for free. It runs like a champ too! Just drained the stale gas, new plug and fired her off. Been second pull start ever since.
Just traded my old FF for a AM-FM-CD with speakers and amp. (hope it works ) Now I'll fish w/ tunes!
