I haven't been able to get out to go fishing in a few weeks because of work schedules and what not. Would it be totally irresponsible to call out "sick"? Technically it would be for my mental health and sanity.
But then aside from work there's the girl friend who seems to think the only reasonable explanation for someone wanting to stand out in the ocean all night is because they're having an affair. Just can't win or catch any fish for that matter

You can always put a fish into her bed when you get home..... One of our moderators did that...

It sounds perfectly sane to me
I took the wife one time. She got bored in 30 minutes. 3 hours later we left. She'll never go again. I don't know how I can live with that?

Life is all about balance... balance in work, balance in family and balance in fishing.. unfortunately.. some of us have trouble with triangles... so we fish heavily to compenste... Personally.. I call in well.. to well to work today.
