caught this baby up early this morning. the ocean was scary but had a ton of fun. brought home 1 keeper

but ended up soaking wet and cold in the process, now im sick and in bed. thought i'd post it really quick before passing out for the day

Still getting Bass along the islands on Plugs, not as many but still able to find a few along with Bluefish

Ummm 14 pound blue.

Ummm 3.5 pound fluke i got in the kayak

ummm 4.5 pound sea bass

No big bass this year, 3 striper trips on the boat and not one.
Did get 2 keepers on the beach and about 20 shorts but did not take any pics.
Hopefully the fall run i will get a 20 or 25 pound bass to post here.

The wife and I went out 8/16 - caught 22 stripers almost all keepers. It's been all bluefish since then!

Me and my brother went on our first striper trip of 2009 yesterday. Boat at Jersey shore, no keepers, but always a great time. Last year, we got most of our stripers in the Schuylkill River near the art museum, believe it or not! See more pictures at www.sickfishing.com Thanks! -Blaise

I took my Mom fishing over the Labor Day weekend at Lake Lanier. She landed this 40 inch striper! She is 78 and had her hands full with this fish.
It made several runs with line pouring off the reel. She kept her cool and got it to the boat. Not bad for her first Striper!

Check out this 45" bass I caught on a live pogy in the Haba on Monday. Used 15lb line and a light set up. Fish was released unharmed. I blacked out the landmarks so I wouldn't burn the spot :)
