Nate The pleasure meeting you guys was likewise. I'm sure I'll see you all again.
Today we will be launching again at noon, and staying local. But yesterday we ran down to Croton, joined the large crowd just south on the point. Our party (Rod Reaper, Kate the Mate & Stevie, brother of Anton NYC) caught two schoolies some catfish and a white perch. We were out there till about 5PM when the winds kicked up so we ran further south and fished the west and lee side running down to the tappan zee until about 10:30 at night Saw no herring we used Bloods and Gulp eels. All in all it was great as it was someones first striper caught in the Hudson, Grill fired up nicely for the dogs and Kabobs
. In fact the only bad thing I can mention well there were two acutually. 1. The Riverr could use more navigational aids for nightime and two which really got me going,
Was the CHEESEDICK who parked his walkaround boat at the Nyack public ramp around 8 at night unattended for over 30 minutes (as I had to drop off a passenger there) blocking the entire ramp for use by any other mariners. If you want to drink or check out the girlies in the local tavern on the other side of the parking lot then tie up eslewhere. Because as of right now You Sir are the dick of the day!
