Hung, I feel your pain! Unfortunately until we as a group demand that the stocks see some real management improvement, I/E Commercial shutdowns of forage fish biomass, Then we will continue to see these drastic results take place.
I lived through the Striper crash, fought for the regulations that have returned them to current levels, and am again enjoying a fairly healthy population.
Yell, scream, and be heard to ensure that all aspects of the fishery are participating.
