Planning on heading down to Susky this year. Reports from last year were not good for fishing. I heard they opened flood gates or dam that darkened the water. Any help on areas to launch a kayak, with close Hotel or motel options would be great. I dont mind paddling a distance to get into flats area. What I dont want is tidal areas with strong current that would make paddling a battle. Any help would be appreciated.
