My next sizeable purchase will probably be a new wetsuit next year. I think I can squeeze one more year out of my current one though.

At those Prices to be honest Lami can keep them. I have an Arra that I have used as a wading staff bounced it off of rocks and it still works just fine.

My next purchase will be pretty lowly. I am going to add an emblem to the stash of reels for long casting opportunities on the cape and at the ditch. I would also like to add a Custom CTS hung new concept as well but it is not in the cards, or budget, this year.

Since I've only been striper fishing a year and all my gear is new and I just bought a jon boat, my next purchase is an outboard. I'll be going after stripers on the Delaware with the boat but have everything I need to hit the surf.

This picture was taken at the Saltwater Expo in Somerset this last weekend. That's Surfcasting legend Ron Arra with some of his soon-to-be-released Surf Pro plugs from Strike Pro.

I contemplated an AFAW blank from Austin but I really have enough stuff - maybe a project for the summer.
I like the look of those plugs. Long and slender.

Melnicks book should be out soon too.
Montauk confidential.

Upon further review, an outboard snow balls into a trailer, etc. so I decided I can row for now, get a trolling motor and a fishfinder instead. I can go from tailgate to water easier in a lot of lakes than if I had a trailer, that's with my 9 & 12 year old on the other end carrying also. Outboard and trailer and Stripers on the Delaware aren't 'til next year I guess, still have the charter boats and the surf.

For myself I have everything I could want, but always could use a few more plugs.

I need a decent pair of rainpants for jetty fishing.
Wearing waders on a jetty is dangerous.
