"Take a Vet/Soldier Fishing" Saturday, May 8th

We are trying to gather a group of fishermen with boats who are willing to take a Veteran or Soldier striped bass fishing. You would have to donate your time, boat, tackle and bait as these Soldiers or Vets probably would not have equipment. We would need to know the size of your boat, make and capacity, so that we can place that right soldier with you.

We have been in contact with the "Wounded Warriors" Program from West Point, VFW and American Legion Halls locally.

We will try and get enough bait to help out for those that do use bait.

If you are a Vet or Soldier that would like to go striped bass fishing, we need you to contact us so that we can place you with a striped bass fishermen.

It is very important that we say "Thank You" to our Soldiers. This would be a great way to do that.

if you get a vet up this way ... albany ... i'd be happy to take them out ... but all i have is room for 1 in my rowboat.... but i'll catch em a fish or two or three.....
