My goodness, Jim, that's a monster!
I thought it was cool, that guy got in the water with it to help it swim away.
Any stats on that hog?

Jeff a little research shows it was caught in Kazakhstan. This fish is a wels cat, would be about 30 years old, they grow very quickly. Judging by the boat, gear and background the guessers placed it in eastern europe. possibly the ily river in Kazakhstan. It looks about 180-190 pounds. the world record is over 200lbs from the rio ebro where cats of in the 150-190 pounds range have become almost common in the warm climate and fish filled river.

Those cats have a strange tail, HUGE.
Don't hold a candle to Stripers.
