Newbie questions on the Raritan

This is the first year I have fished the Raritan on my own. I have been out 2 times this year so far, yesterday and 2 saturdays before that. I think we have done well both times. Both times we got more then our share of keepers and a bunch of 25-28's and a few blues. Is this the peak time? If so how long will it last? After the peak time what can I look forward to?

May 1 to June 15 (+/-) is prime time. After that it's fluking tme until the water starts to cool again. If you head out front there's seabass and fluke and in deeper water you can still jig up a bass or two.

I'm not a boat guy though, hopefully someone else with more knowledge of the subject will chime in.

When it get's closer I will probably be looking for help on fluke and weakfish. I have never fished for or caught either of them before.
