Yes Shmoe. The States have reciprocal license agreements.
Also NY and Pa and NJ and NY are reciprocal further North.

Would I be wasting my time if I just waded as deep as I could at either the Calhoun St. or Washington Crossing bridge with my light surf rod (8', 1-4 oz. and started working the deep waters with the same lures I'd use in the surf? I hear all the boat guys catching fish and the river's so shallow I can't reach water that's any reasonable depth. I could though, if I waded halfway.

I'm going insane because I can't go surf fishing any more because of the price of gas. I could afford the tank to get to the Jersey surf if that's the only trip I took. But I commute the equivalent distance 5 days a week, so when the weekend comes I'm broke.

Hi Jd welcome to the site.
If you see a camo truck driving around Milford or parked at turkey Hill say hello. Some times i fish near Eshback and the outflow from the pack to lackawaxen. Mostly though im off to the salt.

A search will bring you some good info on the Delaware including Washington crossing. keep in mind though targeting stripers during the spawn is prohibited from april 1st through May 31st.

I believe that PA has just approved a change in closed season takeing effect 4/1/09 opening the season to stripers for April an May, size 20" to 26" 2per day. Posting 38PA B6935.

i will be fishing the trenton area starting first week in april, i will post weekly updates regarding herring and striper activity.

Most Defiantly there can be stripers up at Washington crossing. I catch them at Scudders, Titsville, new hope, bulls island, stockton, french town. Typically they are small fish but plugging them is better then baiting them.
