Whole river open below CCM and a guy pulls up within 20 yards. Another guy parks him boat in the middle of the ramp after unloading. Lost a nice one right at the boat. Not a great day...

hey guys, havent posted much lately, between work and my younger guy's baseball schedule i havent had a chance to get out. good news is thuogh that i got a boat. now i can finally get out on the water instead just being stuck on the banks.

not a bad lil boat, 14ft with a 40hp motor. needs a prop but other then that it runs nice.

hope to get out sometime this week. hoping the fishing is good by trenton.

I've seen pictures of a 43 inch fish caught in florence NJ and also probably a 28 inch fish caught in Trenton.

Both were caught from the bank. The 43 inch with a Shad and the 28 with a popper.

Time to hit the water Saturday!

Ran into school of short males after turn of tide. No big females today. No sure signs of spawning, but saw some swirls.

Fished Trenton yesterday (3-midnight), only heard of two boats (one kayak) getting fish and they were short males. Not sure how great this season is going to be but the warming weather should push some fish north.
