Is there a site where we can tract the movement of the stripers as they make their way along the shore with more fishing reports? can't go though my tackle any more or work on reels got to go fishin.

It's almost time to start but I'm treating April 1st as if it were march 1st. Won't be much longer now tho. Time to readjust my schedule for the next couple months.

Think I might run down to the pier in the morning for an hr or two. Going to be cold, but I want to try out the new rod with different string. If I can find a cat, it'll be a bonus. I just need to get down there!

Confirmed- the water is too damn cold! Not a nibble.

Sunny days warm more than cloudy days, even if cooler. SE wind will blow warmer surface water up the bay and into the river

Thanks for the info guys....I guess we all got the itch. I never seriously did the spring thing on the BigD...I usually hit below the PPL park below the CBB...any other good spots near the Ridley area? How about the best spring bait? Bloodworms? or is the usual mishmash of what I try ok? I heard again that Raccoon Creek and on the NJ side and just fishing from the NJ side is better...any thoughts?

The fish are here, they are just sitting doing nothing. I used to gillnet the chesapeake bay, jan and feb were primary months. The fish would come in, big ones, and wait for the spawn in the deep channels. We would get them outside of annapolis then. They woldnt bite a hook no matter what at 38f though

The DE state report says a couple were caught around reedy point on bloods... keepers

How far south are the fish. Did you actually mark them in the deep channels.
