Default spincast line choice

I'm having trouble finding a good, durable line for my spincast reel.I use P-line xtra strong on my baitcasters but it doesnt work well for spining reels.I tried Trilene XL which flows off the spool great but has very poor abrasion resistance and i've also tried spiderwire (which became a nitemare)I fish for stripers in a clear, shallow river with plenty of rocks and cover and sometimes you have to finesse these fish out with small baits. There are so many lines available today i dont know where to start. Any suggestions are welcome and much appreciated!

Big Game. I fish the Cape Cod Canal. This stuff holds up, when others simply fail.

Now if you really meant spincast...I have no idea. But I highly recommend the Snoopy bobber!

I kid!!!!

Silver. I spooled my mitchell 300's with 6 or 8 pound flouroclear (p-line).
Worked fine for me. I also use powerpro 10 # on that reel. Doesnt seem to have the issues that the heavier braid does. I use that set up for LMB.

an aside... The 300x is the newer american reel. IMO the french made 300's are much better.
Ebay / cheap.

for the $$$ I like Ande Backcountry and Momoi Hi-Catch...they both behave pretty well on my spinning gear and seem tougher than trilene XL.

I'm pleased with the Silver Thread so far.
I'm using it on almost everything.
Spinning it's 17# (more like 23#), good abraison resistance, not bad on stretch. They call it a "copolymer" (whatever that is) looks same as mono to my blind vision. Small diameter, not overly soft so it seems to spool well on the cast.

ande backcountry is the best. i use 15# on mine but it is so strong it fishes like 25. tie a palomar knot. stronger then big game. it was especialy designed for inshore fishing when you have to fish near structure. (rock, wrecks, coral etc)
