Ok striper time on Lake Wateree

Today was not a great fish day by the chart but the times that said they were good were great.

Went down to the dam and fished with a couple dudes from NC.They are the BEST striper Fishing fools I have ever seen.

We caught and released so many I cant count them.I kept one about 8lbs or so and filleted it on my boat as I fished the rest of the night til 12 oclock.They told me the bite was over and gave me the rest of their bait,I caught one nice channel and two blues about 15 or so.

The biggest Striper We caught was 12lbs.

Caught free lining herring.It was a learning trip for me.I see that I was moving to fast.but hopefully these old timers got me straightened out.

I anchored my 28 ft toon and loaded up with them for the lesson.For some reason they didnt want me to video any of it,Hope I wasnt out with a couple Americas Most Wanted~! LOL

But any HOot I had a blast.

Thanks for the report Bill.Glad to read a poat of yours.Have you tried them in lake XX lately??I talked to a dude that SAID he had a key.Are they a gate there???

Bill,which dam are you talking about,cedar creek or the lugoff dam??Were yall fishing from the bank or out of your "tub" ??

Call me lets talk,there are two gates down there one on the dam the other is to the landing,which is the one I need once and I will put a boat down there and never take it out.803 209 4435

Four nice stripers this morning at LAke XXX all over ten big one 14lbs...I cant get over 14 this year!
