Fishmaster Flaptails - Jerry Sylvester
Fishmaster Wollaston, Mass - From 1946 to 1955
Jerry Sylvester made the flaptails for them. Jerry started making lures in the late 1930's, and continued to do so until the late 1940's. Sylvester then turned to the Fishmaster Co. to produce two of his lures: "Jerry's Flaptail" and "Jerry's Jointed."

manufactured tin squids, flaptails, swimmers, and poppers,

okie dokie then haha, looks like plenty of people replicated those lures, just 30 years before i was born. Does anyone fish them, or they just too valuable to fish? why doesnt someone do a flap tail today? why has the flap tail fallen off as a popular design? f it, i might just have my buddy make one and fish it and find out for my damnnnn self.
