Close friend of mine was out yesterday fishing the banks with bloods and ended up with 5 shorts in a few hours. It's time to start getting out there.

No Sir, you can try some of the back bay areas but nothing will be out front yet.

That is not absolutly true. SIC surf gave up a keep and a few shorts this past week on clams. It's not that they aren't there it's that there are far and few ppl who hit the surf this early. SJ as well as central jersey has a decent amount of resident bass year round and those fish still got to eat. They just eat less often and in very smaller windows.

My boy Saltlife is and has been on them for 2 weeks now here a 24" he got yesterday along with a couple other shorts all on bloods on outgoing tide
