struckout in the bay!

went out for a couple hours today near sharps isl. light. not much action to speak of, but it was nice to get out there. didnt mark much of anything on the fishfinder and didnt have one knockdown. water temp. was 43 deg. maybe i'll try again next weekend.

Glad to hear someone is getting rid of the cabin fever! I have been working on lures and tying my new stuff such as tandems and freshening up the umbrella rigs. Started on the boats with wheelbearings and stuff and it will not be long for a shake down voyage myself, I made a new planer board and want to try it out early before the trophy season begins in April. For you guys that fish the Bay at the end of this month I believe the 28th and 29th The MSSA annual Flea Market will be at the Solomons Firehouse check them out for some bargains!

I plan to hit the Flea Market myself, never been there before, how is it? I imagine there are also tackle vendors with new stuff?

This will be the 16th annual Flea Market of the MSSA. (Maryland Saltwater Sportfishermen's Association) I have included an attachment of the event. The MSSA has numerous Chapters in Maryland and I have been a member of the Southern Maryland Chapter for a long time. Being a member you get discounts at Boaters World and if you are like me the discounts pay for the membership. They have member meetings once a month and have some great speakers talking about the hot spots and tricks how to catch you more fish plus giveaways and 50 50 raffles. They do numerous events during the year taking kids and Vets fishing. A very good organization. See you at the sale!
