The eyes on that green frog are creeping me out

Awesome stuff. There's nothing that can compare with handcarved work.

Have you ever tried putting a lip on one of those or would the legs kill the action?

8) thanxs for the kind words guys, means a lot to me, as for selling them i have never sold a bait, so i would not know what to ask for money wise, even more so because of our weak dollar  (P.M. with what do you think is fair?) ,and sudsy, your great mind and my insane mind think a like, already have a lip in a frog ,drying from the primer as we speak, will paint him this week( any body have a wild frog colour combo they want me to try??), and get the pic to you guys, also just finished painting up some more depth chargers( the same bait as the purple perch) in a colour i call acid flash back, bright to say the least L.O.L, will topcoat them and post pics this weekend.

thanxs Etch 8)

How about bullfrog - eggshell belly fading up to pale yellow, both the eggshell and yellow faintly fogged with orange, up to pale green up to forest green on its back with a spray of black spots on top (try a kids Blow Pen )

Doing the eardrum might be tricky.

8) hi sudsy, went the other way with the one i had primered, i walk a different path to say the least, L.O.L, so i painted and blended the top half fire red. the bottom half canary yellow, then put the frog spots on in reverse colour(red spots on the yellow, yellow on the red ) with small black dots all over him, i think it looks wild to say the least, will have a pic for you after he gets of the drying wheel!! and the next frog i blast i will try your suggestion( but no guarentees on the paint job , i am not that good :(

thanxs Etch

I wasn't asking about the paint - I'm curious how the lipped frog swims.

 my fault, it can stay on top and can be jerked and popped , but when you crank it back in ,it will go about 6 to 8 inches below the surface and comes back like a snake like action , with the legs doing there own thing!!!, hope this helps.
