Central Texas Hybrid fishing has always been good. The last two years or so, however untill recently the Hybrids are taking over. Over the past month we have been killing the Hybrids on deep running crank baits trolling through narrow channels on the lake. We can go just about anywhere on the lake and catch a couple, but no more than that in one area. They average 3.5lbs, and catch up to 9lbs pretty regularly. Anyone who can help me find more isolated fishing would be great help. We are using jointed shad raps and norman DD22's
Hey Wise Hybred, get ahold of the "Belton Bunch" on the texasfishingforum, don't want to turn you from 247, but they've got the hybrid fishing down to a fish fry every week!
They have a contest on going, giving away Gizz4 crankbaits as well as other prizes, runs into May or June I think.
They would be helpful with local fishing in the Belton TX area.
