Spent the weekend at Ocean city fishing blues, surprise we caught a lot of them, but the item of interest was Tautog. These critters are going nuts in the inlet and they are only biting on green crabs, they have them by the quart at the pier. If you have time its worth the trip, I’m not sure how much longer they will be in the inlet so you might want to call ahead to the pier.
They're a blast, aren't they? I'm going to Indian River in July, and I'll be splitting my fishing time between casting for stripers and fishing the riprap for 'tog. It can get expensive, but it's worth it to catch a couple of those delicious little beauties!
