Hi Bowditch. As luck would have it, they are rebuilding the bridge and now I have no access to that area without fear of legal penalty. Might not stop me anyway lol.
I did find access to Pleasure House Reserve area and did fish the opposite point I mentioned in the video near the end. I caught several nice fluke (what they call flounder down here).
BTW, try using BING maps in "Bird's-eye" mode. These are photos from aircraft and they can get you much closer to the surface and with much greater detail than the sat shots.

Use the little arrow on the left side of the map to get rid of the ads to the left and go full screen. Then zoom in to the area you want to see and click on the [bird's-eye] tab. Then keep scrolling in until you can't anymore. You can get within 50 feet in many cases and it's really the way to check out structure and water. A great tool. This is what that point in the video looks like in bird's eye.
