About 6 1/2" long, extra heavy hardware, cut 3/0 VMC hook, epoxy heat sealed.
What's different is that the only paint used on this wood is the primer and a base coat of black. Can't say they were painted so I have to say they were colored. I used three coats of clear waterproof sealer, each coat containing a different color shifting powder - blue/green, green/yellow and pink/gold. After they were colored they were coated with two coats of E-tex, the first coat getting a sprinkle of black micro glitter.
Swims with a big wobble at a very slow retrieve and can dig down a few feet with a few cranks - best for calm evenings and dawns.
The first one I tested got scratched when a bass grabbed it as I was giving it a swim. (I took that as a good sign
)
8" Slopehead in chameleon (color shifting) green and Root Beer. Look at it from one angle, it's green, from another and it's a metallic coppery brown.
8 1/2" Roundnose done the same as the top minnow but with a chameleon gold overspray and wired with 1300 lb hardware - you can catch tuna on this.
6" Cowboy also done in the same method as the top minnow but with a black Chicken Scratch pattern and a black back with microglitter - I love glitter, it's the miracle cure for hiding small tear outs that show up after priming (when it's too late to sand em out)
The colors shift as you turn the plugs so they really don't show properly in the pictures
