Fishing Spots: Croton Point Park, Cornwall (NY), Norrie Point (Staatsburg) to name a few.

Not too much action for me yet, but keeping hope alive. Water is still marginal, Seeing alot of cats and perch...where's those Stripers!?!?

Anyone having any luck in these areas as of late??

Welcome to the site Truth. This is by far, my favorite site for striper info on the hudson. Another great source of info is Riverbasinsports.com. They have fishing reports on the Striper action almost daily, as well as pics of the latest hawgs brought in for their contest. I fish out of Corning Preserve/Albany and have taken two trips with zero herring, shad or stripers. I did catch a 3 lb catfish on a herring chunk...go figure. I know lots of reports coming in from Catskill area and Herring and Shad are reported at Henry Hudson Park, which is about 7 miles south of Albany, so I figure by the weekend, they should FINALLY be way up here...Hope you enjoy this site. There's a lot of good people on here and tons of good info. -Alan G

Hi seeker welcome.

A couple of days like today and tomorrow will go a long way towards cow hunting.
Will be taking a trip to Norrie for a look see myself soon.
