I always end up with some extra eels when I'm done bassin. I usually save em. I have only ever caught Blues on frozen eels when I have reused them. Will stripers hit an eel on a fishfinder setup if your not working it? I would like to not have to keep buying fresh eels if the frozen ones will work. Or should I just save em for the blues as I would be wasting my time going for stripers with em? Any info will help, thanks ya'll.

i've caught plenty of stripers on dead eels - so i don't see why it wouldn't work it you took them out of the freezer and reused them. Mine were never frozen after they were dead though, they had usually only been dead for less than a day
I would just make sure you let it thaw enough so that the eel still has a lot of movement to it when it goes through the water, the saltwater will do that relatively quick anyway.
Save em for the Blues?
