I am hitting the surf and a couple of bays tonight. I haven't seen too much lately and am undecided on about everything and everyone in terms of what to use and techniques. I'm thinking about drifting bunker by a jetty with my ten foot surf rod to see if larger stripers are getting active again.
But then my other instinct tells me if I should look for weakies in the bay with bloodworms.
Or can I find blues?
What would be a best bet for this time a year...I'm sure NYC waters haven't cooled off just enough yet for Stripers to get moving but any ideas would be great.
This icon is awesome. I need to post at least once with it.
