Default Trolling motor install

I want to install a trolling motor on the bow of my 17, center console, but I'm posed with two problems.First how to modify the bow rail to allow for the motor install.Secondly, how to run the wires from the motor to the center console....I want to pace two batteries in the center console and would like to have the wires hidden and not cross the floor area between the bow and the center console.Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

My question for you is, Why not a transom mount instead. There are many options available that allow you to dial control the troller and utilize your current steering to control direction. It also gives you better directional control from the stern in rougher than calm weather. Think about rolling waves and the action of your bow verse the stern, the motor stays in the water.
Other wise, mount your wiring along the gunnel under the trim, then snake under your deck. Check to see if there is already a wiring chase from the bow for your forward running lights as well.
