Many shorts
There seem to be an abundance of shorts around, everywhere, with the keeper here and there. I've caught my share of decent bass this year, like I always do.. Anyhow, fishing for bass is no way as sad as it was back in the 70's. Anyone remember that? I do. In 1976 or '77, I got one bass in the fall of that year. When I see a year like this, I don't get discouraged. There are bass around. I know that I have to work a little harder to get 'em.

Just get ready......2 weeks ago I feared that it was all over, but I was wrong....all I was catching was shorts. That has changed over the last week, and the better fish appear to be headed your way.
